On June 27-28, the festival "Hamora-2015" will take place in the village of Lysychovo in Irshava district. Traditionally, the festival brings together blacksmith artists from different regions of Ukraine and other countries around the unique local attraction – the water forge shop, built in the XVIII century. Today, the forge shop is known not only as a monument of smithing, but as the only one of its kind in Europe, which still operates.
This year, about 20 blacksmiths will take part in the fest – both amateurs and professionals of hot and cold metal processing. The masters will be competing in several categories, and also will be demonstrating their skills to the audience and even teach them the basic principles of blacksmithing, so that anyone could forge something with their own hands. Also, visitors will be offered to try themselves in other kinds of crafts and needlework at the workshops.
In addition, the program includes numerous performances by folk groups, in fact, in the early years of the "Hamora", bright concert performance were the main content of the festival. Finally, the organizers planned the ascent to the Kuk mountain (depending on weather) and the campaign "Blacksmith bonfire", during which tourists will learn about local folk traditions.
