Theft: in Transcarpathia, a man stole a wallet from his friend

Officers of the Beregovo Police Department have found a local resident who robbed his friend. Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings over the theft, the Communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police reported.
Beregovo police investigators are investigating a case involving the theft of cash from a 51-year-old resident. The victim appealed to the police with a report that he had lost a wallet with more than 50 thousand hryvnias in foreign currency.
According to the man, he noticed the absence of the wallet the day after he was drinking alcohol with his friend in the cemetery.
Investigators of the Beregovo Police Department initiated criminal proceedings over the theft under Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. As a result of the operative and search measures, the police identified the suspect, found him and seized material evidence – the stolen wallet with some of the money. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
