The winners of the largest wine festival of the country “Red Wine” were awarded in Mukachevo

The winners of the largest wine festival of the country "Red Wine" were awarded in the Peremoha park on the territory of the festival town.

The day before, the tasting commission with the participation of scholars from two universities, representatives of the Association of winemakers and winegrowers, a regional tourist organization of Transcarpathia determined the winners. This year a new nomination was introduced – "People’s Choice", which is determined by visitors of the fest.

The winner of the 24th festival "Red Wine" is Shimon Stefan for the wine "Nero" in the nomination "Choice of the Mukachevo Mayor". He received a certificate in the amount of 10,000 UAH. Vasyl Antalovsky received a certificate in the amount of 15,000 UAH for the wine "Cabernet" in the nomination "Best festival wine of Transcarpathia 2019".

The main winner of the festival-contest Oros Ruslan received a certificate in the amount of 20,000 UAH for the wine "Alibernet" in the nomination "Best Red Wine of Transcarpathia 2019".

Recall that this year’s fest was attended by the top 40 winemakers in the region.
