The 67th anniversary of the Great Victory was celebrated today in Uzhgorod. They put flowers to the ‘Ukraine for liberators’ monument on the Ukrainian-Slovak border, then on the Kyryl and Mefodii Square to the ‘Transcarpathian volunteers – for participants of the Second World War’ monument. All gathered on the Poshtova Square in 20 minutes in order to form a column, which also moved to the hill of Fame on the meeting-requiem. Later on everyone went to Uzhgorod amphitheater, where was held the concert. There veterans could call to their friends for free, eat porridge and drink 100 grams of vodka.
