The umbrela magnolia is “ripening” (PHOTOS)

Now, the Botanic Garden of UzhNU is not blooming as lushly as, for example, in the spring. Still, there is a lot to see there. Blooming roses, white lilies, and ripening fruits of the wild lemon. However, our attention was drawn by peculiar pink "cones" on the umbrella magnolia from North America. Tourists enjoy its white flowers in late April and early May. So we asked employees of the garden who were sitting on the bench about it. They explained that this was seeds ripening.

You may also notice small sculptures, which, according to employees of the garden, were made by students of art school. The number of art works is increasing each time. By the way, now in the botanical garden you can even taste pear fruits, hidden among the exotics. Or just have a stroll, as tourists do. "I came to your resort. I am very glad to have come here and, you know, I do not want to leave. Although, exotic plants are not blooming, but it is so quiet and cozy here" – the guest from Belarus said.
