The Transcarpathian Regional State Administration gave update about the work of the Uzhgorod Children’s Railway (DOCUMENTS)

Rumors about the alleged closure of the Uzhgorod Children’s Railway are being spread in the Internet. It is not true! 
The railway has suspended its operation due to restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of coronavirus. 
In the summer, when the situation looked encouraging, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Oleksiy Petrov, repeatedly addressed the management of the Ukrzaliznytsia JSC (Ukrzaliznytsia owns the facility) with a request to launch the attraction. However, each time the answer was that "the training process on all children’s railways of Ukraine has been suspended…. Resumption of operation until the end of quarantine restrictions is not being considered." 
Currently, the situation with the coronavirus is deteriorating and no one will endanger children. The children’s railway in Uzhgorod will start working after the situation improves.  
Uzhgorod Children’s Railway is an important facility that needs to be preserved and developed.
