The traditional celebration of the Day of the Medical Worker

Every year, every third Sunday of June, the Day of Medical Worker is celebrated in Ukraine. 

Traditionally, on the eve of the holiday, the mayor of Uzhgorod, Bohdan Andriyiv, congratulated the best employees of city health institutions, wished them happiness, harmony, optimism and inspiration. He thanked the doctors for their work, for their invaluable services to the residents of Uzhgorod, because they treat thousands of people every day, giving them the joy of victory over their illnesses. 

Bohdan Andriyiv presented letters to the best medical workers of the Uzhgorod city clinical hospital, city clinic and city children’s hospital. He noted that human health is an invaluable treasure, and the profession of a doctor has always been, is and will be one of the most need and most respected ones. And the city authorities will continue to make every effort to improve the provision of medical institutions with medicines, the working conditions of doctors and the treatment of patients.
