The tax police of Transcarpathia seized 2200 bottles of vodka

This was announced by Andriy Milyuchenko – the Acting Chief of Operations Department of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region.

According to him, the control of excisable goods market is one of the priorities of the operations departments of the Ministry of Income Main Office.

As part of the "Excise-2014" operation, they confiscated vodka of "Pshenychna" and "Green Line" brands in amount of 2200 bottles. This vodka was found in Uzhgorod, in one of the warehouses. All the seized bottles had fake excise stamps and paper tapes labeled "ACA" looking like excise stamps.

The approximate cost of the seized counterfeit alcohol production is more than 78 thousand hryvnias. According to available information, the vodka came to Transcarpathia from Donetsk region.

Currently, they are taking investigative measures aimed at establishing a range of individuals who, among other things, should establish channels for delivering illegal excisable goods to the region.

The operation "Excise – 2014" in Ukraine was initiated in January this year. It is aimed at combating the distribution of counterfeit and substandard products in the country.
