The CEC does not exclude the possibility that the situation with deprivation of deputy mandates happens again. This was announced by a CEC member Mykhailo Okhendovsky, reported the Mirror Weekly.
Speaking about the recent decision of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine, whereby Pavlo Baloha (constituency number 71) and Oleksandr Dombrovsky (constituency number 11) were deprived of their deputy mandates, Okhendovsky informed that so far the commission received only the enacting part of the judgment but the reasoning had not been executed.
At the same time, Mr. Okhendovsky said that the CEC is responsible for organizing the election, not for appointing thereof, and for this, a court judgment alone is not enough. In any case, re-election may be held only when there are 443 deputies officially.
Recall, February 8, the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine deprived an MP from the "United Center" party Pavlo Baloha (constituency number 71, Transcarpathian region) and a self-nominated MP Oleksandr Dombrovsky (constituency number 11, Vinnytsya) of their parliamentary powers.
