The servicing of the bus route № 27 "Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts – Uzhgorod National University" has been suspended. The carrier, which operated the route №27, applied for early termination of the contract – the reason was unprofitability due to the introduction of quarantine restrictions on the carriage of passengers, according to the transport department of the city council. Initially, 7 buses ran on the route, the carrier gradually reduced their number and finally stopped transportation completely.
Also recall that a few weeks ago another private carrier stopped serving another city bus route – No. 158 Koryatovych Square – Barvinok City Cemetery. A tender to determine a new carrier on this route will soon be announced
