The Security Service of Ukraine found a resident of Uzhgorod who called to seize power with arms

Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region are taking measures to prevent unconstitutional acts during scheduled events in Uzhgorod.

Law enforcers have found a local resident who called through social network to protest and to seize power with arms. Criminal proceeding was initiated under Part 2 of Art.109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Urgent operational-investigative measures are being taken.

Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region also warned the organizers of the planned events on the inadmissibility of actions to change or overthrow the constitutional order, seize power and encroach on territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.

The Security Service will continue to respond adequately to manifestations of separatism and anti-constitutional activity.
