A very tall poplar on Chelyuskintsi street, near the buildings number 4 and number 6 was finally cut down.
For a long time there was an announcement on the tree, saying that cars should not be parked beneath it. Not long ago, one of the branches split, and at the end of the week they cut the tree down – lest it does not fall either on a car, or on a house, or, God forbid, on people. However, branches still obstruct the way – the tenants park their cars in front of the green barrier.
By the way, in front of the houses there are a dozen of trees, which are at least 30 years old and which also may split under wind and gravity, because the poplar is quite fragile tree. Residents are hoping that public utilities will cut these trees too, because it’s frightening to imagine what destruction these trees, which have reached a height of a 9-storeyed building, can cause if they fall.
