The People’s Council must consist of activists, not party members! Deputies refuse from their quotas

After the meeting of Transcarpathian People’s Council, which was held today, they announced that representatives of the "Front of Changes" also withdrew their nominations from the body, the same as the deputy of the regional council Anton Zelinsky did earlier.

Their motivation is that the People’s Council must consist of activists rather than party members.

In general, the meeting was attended by only one representative of the regional council deputies, who represent half of the People’s Council, namely 15 people. Therefore, there was no quorum and the Council failed to elect its leaders and consider other matters.
