The owners have been warned: they will have to give up the land!

Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv have sent letters to the owners of the land near the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama TheaterIvan Tehza and Volodymyr Yursa informing that by the decision of the session of the City Council of June 26, №1140, it was decided to redeem all 3 land plots in Mostovy lane that were sold to them earlier.

The mayor notes that these land plots have a high cultural and social value for Uzhgorod residents and guests who want to preserve green areas in the central part of the city.

In order to create a public space near the theater, the land will be redeemed at a price not lower than that set by the expert evaluation of the land, however the City Council is ready to consider other terms of redemption. The owners are asked to inform the Uzhgorod City Council within a month about their consent to negotiate the terms of redemption of this important territory of the city. This was reported by the press service of the City Council.

As you know, on June 27, tthe members of the Executive Committee supported the draft decision and abolished the city-planning conditions and restrictions for the construction on the land plots in Uzhgorod at the address: Mostovy lane, pos.2 and pos.3 dd. June 26, 2018, No. 51 / 03-01 / 18, issued to the CONTINENT INVEST GROUP LLC, and the Order of the Urban Development and Architecture Department of Uzhgorod City Council dd. June 26, 2018, No. 50-m, whereby they we approved.
