Today, on August 3, the oldest Ukrainian volunteer, a member of the OUN – UPA Brotherhood, the Union of Ukrainian Women and the World Association of Veterans of the Second World War, who died at the age of 92, was buried in Uzhgorod.

The funeral was attended by her daughter Valentina, granddaughter Vita and her family, friends, neighbors, women from Uzhgorod military unit A-1778, as well as volunteers of the Movement to Support Transcarpathian Soldiers, where every month (since 2014) she would donate a part of her pension.

The Deputy Mayor of Uzhgorod, Igor Fartushok, was also there. She was buried in the cemetery in Barvinok, where a few days ago her daughter’s husband Valentina had been buried. At the grave of the patriot, they put a large volunteer basket with sunflowers and snow balls that she loved so much. Rest in piece, our guardian angel!
