After the Uzhgorod City Council session where deputies unanimously approved all the draft decisions, journalists appealed to the Mayor Bogdan Andriyiv for comments.
In particular, they asked about the winter holidays in Uzhgorod. The new mayor promised that it would be beautiful – just like in Europe.
Moreover, he says that Uzhgorod residents will have a decent New Year and Christmas Fair with wooden houses.
According to Andriyiv, they will be placed on Petofi and Teatralna squares.
Traditionally, the fairs will begin on the Day of St. Nicholas.
Earlier, Mukachevo and Khust stated that their holiday fairs would have a European look. Obviously, the new city government was ashamed of the regional center, and they decided to remedy the situation.
Currently, the questions about other details of fairs, their scope and content remain open.
