Partners from the Czech region of Vysocina, who were in Transcarpathia on a working visit, participated in the erection of the restored Czech inscription on the memorial sign to the fallen in the First World War on the Uzhotsky pass.
The event was attended by a member of National Council of Vysočina Martin Hisky, the first deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Mykhailo Popovich, representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic Pavel Filipek, Dagmar Martinkova and others. After the official speeches, they laid flowers and wreaths on the memorial – the press service of the Regional Council informs.
