Reminder: today the executive committee did approve the installation of 18 boards of the so-called "decorative", but actually advertising fence at the crossroads of the city. The following members of the Executive Committee voted for this project: Brenzovych, Pyankov, Vartsaba, Panasenko, Kurakh, Hevorkyan, Korol, Flenko, Badyda, Hruzina and the chairman of the Executive Committee Pogorelov. No one voted against, Kyniv abstained.
The addresses of new outdoor advertising boards are specified in the previous post. As the Mayor emphasized at the meeting, the advertisement will "decorate and not spoil the city".
After the meeting journalists talked with the mayor on this topic. First, they asked how much the city would receive for installation of such advertising on the streets. "Today I can not report this information, you can find out in the financial department." To the question of uzhgorod.in how the members of the executive committee could have considered this issue without knowing what it would bring the city, the mayor replied that the draft had been prepared by the Department of Urban Planning, which had studied the subject and decided that "it would be good for the city."
Pogorelov also did not deny that the firm, which will install the advertisement, belonged to the family of the Deputy Mayor, particularly, that the founder of the "RI Cube" is Serhiy Belyakov – son of Yuri Belyakov. "I have no such information, but every family, including families of my deputies, shall be entitled to such activities."
Well, now all we can do is to "look forward" to installation of the "decorative" advertising and to find out how much it will bring the city… Let’s find out.
