The noble Sauvignon Blanc was the first to ripen in the Chizay tract, on the warm slopes of the Mala Hora, near Beregovo. The winemakers began to harvest it in the first days of September, of course, manually, and with the expectation that the berries would become the most delicious sun drink.
The grape growers of Transcarpathia consider this year quite successful, hoping that the weather will not bring unpleasant surprises. According to the Director General of the Chateau Chizay winemaking company, Anatoliy Poloskov, the sun and other conditions of the unique Carpathian terroir allowed the grape to acquire not only the desired sugar content, but also all other necessary properties.
