The lack of space for posters is one of the problems of cultural events in Uzhgorod

It was reported by a co-organizer of the festival "Kruk Fest", the editor of the music website "Vivsyanka" Yaryna Denysyuk at a press conference in Uzhgorod Press Club.

They talked about the idea, organization, participants of the festival, expectations, and other issues of musical life in Uzhgorod. The festival co-organizer Mykola Maha also talked with the journalists.

Yatyna Denysyuk, who is in charge of information support for the festival, drew attention to the problem, that concerns not only music festivals but any cultural events taking place in Uzhgorod. "It is lack of space for posters, as strange as it sounds, – Yaryna Denysyuk says. – Print posters are relevant, they attract visitors. But there is no place to post these posters. In Uzhgorod, there are only two usable poster bollards and construction site fences. Regarding the fences, ideally, we have to ask the owners’ permission for posting. But hardly anybody does it." According to Yaryna Denysyuk, when public budget was being formed in Uzhgorod, Vasyl Chaykovych proposed the project for installation of poster bollards, but the project was not supported. Music event organizers also wrote a petition on the site of the City Council, but did not get any response.

Recall that the festival will begin at 15.00 on April 22 and will last for 7 hours. Each band will have an hour for a performance.
