On the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, a number of events dedicated to volunteering will be held in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library (Svoboda Ave., 16, 1st floor), at the Information and Resource Center "Window to America".
November 29 (Wednesday), at 17.00 – English speaking club for teens (living library with Peace Corps Volunteers)
November 30 (Thursday), at 17.00 – English speaking club for adults (discussion: "How can volunteering benefit your life specifically?")
December 2 (Saturday), at 14.00 – Volunteer Fest (presentations of volunteer movements, NGOs about their volunteering activities)
During the Volunteer Fest, you will find out how volunteering helps to implement your civic position, how anyone can influence the development of their community or help others, gain valuable expertise and develop new skills.
We invite volunteer movements, volunteers to join the Volunteer Fest, share their experiences and tell about diverse volunteer opportunities.
