The hurricane, that swept over Uzhgorod today, caused a lot of trouble

The Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv reported on his page in Facebook on the aftermath of the disaster, which was raging today in the city​​.

Specifically, fallen trees on Plekhanov street, Yokai street, Fuchyk street near the house №42, the intersection of Ruska and Lesya Ukrainka streets. On Ruska and Tykhy streets, trees damaged cars.

On Sobranetska street, due to short-circuiting, there was a failure at the transformer substation. Because of that, Lokota and nearby streets are without electricity. Also, the Pidlypnyky neighborhood, Zhemayte, Hvardiyska, Shchedrin (and neighboring) streets are currently without power supply.

Employees of public utilities and contractors, State Emergencies Service, power company are working to eliminate the effects of the hurricane.
