Construction of solid waste processing plant with the capacity of 20,000 tons per year should be started this year in the village of Yanoshi in Beregovo district. This was announced by the village head Marta Barta during a meeting at Beregovo District State Administration.
She particularly noted that Yanoshi village council won the contest under the Programme ENPI Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine for the grant for construction of the solid waste processing plant with appropriate transport and engineering infrastructure. The first tranche of the grant must be received by the end of February this year. Design and estimate documentation for the facility has been completed and is at the final stage of examination. But it is necessary to finance accounts receivable for its production and expertise, as well as raise funds for compensation of losses of agricultural production on the designated land.
Following the meeting, it was decided to apply to the Governor to allocate unused funds and funds for co-financing in the amount of 10% of the cost of construction, which is provided under the terms of the international grant, and to provide the appropriate budget for the compensation of losses of agricultural production on the designated land.
