Almost one hundred cyclists gathered for the "Cycle Quest" in Kamyanytsia, Uzhgorod district. It was organized by the village youth – participants of the "Free Space" project together with the Kamyanytsia village council.
"This is the first experience of organizing a bicycle ride in the village which was initiated by children. They themselves prepared the program, made and posted ads, met the cyclists and accompanied them along the route," – the chairman of the Kamyanytsia village council Maria Koval-Mazyuta said.
The ride started from the village club. The participants were divided into 2 teams that competed at thematic stations.
The organizers met the cyclists at each stop. To reach the finish, the children had to overcome many challenges. To compete in the local history quiz "Mysteries of Kamyanytsia", to participate in the garbage sorting relay "Super heroes saving the planet" and eco-quizzes. To meet a garbage monster and successfully complete all his tasks. And also, to look for the treasures of the forest.
