On Monday, November 23, at 14.00, in the "Mustard Seed" lane, there will be the opening of an exhibition "Migrants in Transcarpathia: life without stereotypes", organized by the Uzhgorod Press Club in conjunction with the "Mustard Seed" lane in the framework of the project "Migrants in Transcarpathia: life without stereotypes" supported by the "U-Media" program.
Ukrainians, who had to leave their homes, work, friends, family because of the war in the east, have ended up in Transcarpathia. How does it feel: to be migrants in your own country, to dramatically change life or start it anew, to get used to a different pace, to understand you own, and yet strange people, to start your own business or look for a job, to make new friends, relatives, to take root or constantly be packed and ready to go?
24 short picture stories of those who dared to move, understood Transcarpathia, liked Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and other places of our region. Known Transcarpathian photographers – Serhiy Denisenko, Valentin Kuzan and Yevhen Kudryavtsev (a resident of Lluhansk, who has also become a Transcarpathian) – recorded the stories of the people in pictures. All of them are very interesting persons that have enriched Transcarpathia.
