The EU has approved the list of countries for which its borders will be opened from July 1: Ukraine is not among them

On June 30, the Council of the European Union released the list of countries for which entry restrictions will be lifted as of July 1. The list includes 14 countries, Ukraine is not among them.

This is stated in the official statement of the Council of the EU, the Censor.NET reported with reference to the hromadske.ua.

According to the decision, from July 1, EU member states will remove entry restrictions for the following countries: Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay.

The list could include China, the statement said, if the China allows EU citizens to enter.

The list of countries will be reviewed every two weeks. Therefore, new countries can be added to it or some countries can be removed from it.

At the same time, even for the countries, that are not included in the list of the EU Council, there will be exceptions. They apply to countries that are not part of the Schengen area, but have an associated agreement with it (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland).
