The establishment of a volunteer community is being initiated at Uzhgorod National University. Active students, teachers, graduates and administrative staff will be able to join it. The foundation meeting of the community will be held on December 5, the day when the international day of the volunteer is celebrated all over the world.
The initiator of the volunteer community is the head of the Center for Sustainable Development, assistant professor Hanna Melehanych.
The volunteer community will cover various cultural, sporting, public and other areas. There are also many projects, opportunities to participate in international programs, summer schools, be involved in volunteering abroad.
To join the volunteer community in UzhNU, please fill out the online application form. On December 5, the foundation meeting of the volunteer community will be held, where the main areas of volunteer work in UzhNU will be identified, the coordinators for these areas will be elected.
"There are many scientific studies that show that people who do charity work live longer and happier," – Hanna Melehanych said and invited to join the volunteer community at UzhNU.
