On November 13, at 16.00, in the multimedia hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, there will be the presentation of the embroidery studio, which has just been established by the museum workers.
Recall that the project was initiated to promote authentic Transcarpathian embroidery and to give its fans the opportunity to embroider their own traditional shirts under the supervision of the recognized masters.
The managers of the studio will tell more about it and will compare authentic shirts from the museum collection with modern embroidered shirts, which have become widespread, but do not correspond to the tradition.
The meeting is open to all who wish to join the expert conversation about the features and the importance of preservation and revival of traditional embroidery in Transcarpathia.
