The drunkard judge will be punished (VIDEO)

Today the Court of Appeal in Transcarpathian region considered the appeal of judge Mykhailo Rotmistrenko on deprivation of his driver’s license for driving while being intoxicated

The court refused to grant Rotmistrenko’s request to cancel the court decision on deprivation of his driver’s license. This was reported by activist Vitaliy Gregor on his page on Facebook:

"VICTORY! The judge is punished and deprived of the drivers’ license because justice is for all!

The Court of Appeal upheld the decision of Mukachevo City and District Court to deprive Uzhgorod judge M.Rotmistrenko of the driver’s license and rejected his appeal.

This victory was made possible by fellow human right activists, principled position of Uzhgorod patrol police and unbiased journalists covering this sensational case since the beginning. As a result, justice and common sense prevailed!

It concerns the incident that took place December 9, 2016, when an undeclared SUV BMW X5 of Uzhgorod judge M.Rotmistrenko for the second time in a year violated the traffic rules and did not stop at the request of the police. When he was caught in Uzhgorod district, he jumped out of the car into a field and told the policemen that he did not know how he had ended up there."
