The draft in Transcarpathia will last until July

This was stated by the chairman of the draft commission in the region Igor Shinkaryuk.
According to him, quarantine requirements will be observed during the campaign: men will be subjected to PCR testing.
The spring draft was to be held from April to June this year. It was postponed due to quarantine.
The head of the draft commission of Transcarpathia Igor Shinkaryuk said that doctors have considerable experience in examining conscripts in compliance with quarantine norms.
"They will be provided with means of protection by district hospitals or the Department of Health of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. There will be PCR testing of conscripts. That is, no one will go to the army untested."
For the first three months, conscripts will be trained in training centers, the Deputy Regional Military Commissar Yuri Velychkanych said. After that, they will be sent to military units for service. Conscripts serving in the National Guard will not be pre-trained.
For the first time, officers will be called up to the Armed Forces for a year and a half, Andriy Lushchakevych, the head of the reserve officers’ department of the regional military commissariat said. Those are men under 43 with higher education who have completed a training course at the military department and have not served in the armed forces. After six months of service, they can sign a contract for military service.
