The deputies decided to help manufacturers

The deputies of the Regional Council plan to consider the draft decision "On amendments to the Program of development and support of agriculture in 2012 – 2015."

According to the document, it is planned to allocate for the implementation of the program this year UAH 5 million 730 thousand. These funds will be used to reimburse manufacturers up to 60 percent of full cost of purchased pre-basic (superelite), basic (elite) cereal seeds; up to 50 percent of full cost of certified seeds (first reproduction); up to 50 percent of costs for imported high quality seeds, including transportation; up to 50 percent of costs for harvesting and storage of insurance fund grain; in case of possible replanting or sowing due to adverse weather conditions, up to 100 percent of the cost of sowing seeds, excluding the amount of value added tax, purchased for this purpose.

Also under the program, manufacturers of the region will be reimbursed up to 60 percent of the cost of purchased high-quality seeds of potatoes and up to 50 percent of costs for imported high quality seeds of potatoes, including transportation, as well as up to 100 percent of the cost of purchased propagating material of fruit, berry and grape crops, the press service of the Regional Council reports.
