The decision of the executive committee: “Panorama” in Uzhgorod will not be working at night

The issue of the incident, that occurred on January 13 around 4:30, was raised at the meeting. People were stabbed on the territory of the night club "Panorama", the victims are in the hospital, their condition is stable now.The injuries were inflicted in the abdomen.
Investigators opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism with the use of weapons).

The executive committee meeting was attended by the owner of the "Panorama".

As it turned out later, the "Panorama" club has no official permission for night operation, so the establishment will not be working at night until the owner renews the documents.

Uzhgorod patrol police will be employed to improve security. State protection service cannot protect the private territory of the institution, so they decided to finance the ensurance of law and order on Tolstoy street and on the territory of the drama theater.

Also, they raised the issue of the prohibition of alcohol sale in the establishment and in local 24/7 stores to reduce risks.

The person, who attacked two men with a knife, is still being wanted.

He will be punished by imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
