It concerns the accusations of corruption – during the first deputy mayor’s business trip to Kyiv, a mediator with money was detained in Uzhgorod.

It concerns land issues.

Previously twice postponed hearing in Uzhgorod City and District Court has finally begun. This time the investigator and the prosecutor have come – yesterday, they did not show up. The room is full of people.

The prosecution requests to remove Istvan Tsap from his office for two months.

Yesterday, on the regional television channel Tisa 1 Istvan Tsap said that he would obey the court decision if it decides to suspend him.

The arguments of the prosecutor and the investigator are as follows: they believe that Tsap can affect witnesses. This is the main risk, according to them. They also emphasize that the crime "was committed in a veiled form. This means that the suspect may use other people."
