The court has determined where the elite gadgets confiscated in Transcarpathia will go

Today (03.09.20), Uzhgorod City and District Court of Transcarpathian region considered a case of violation of customs rules and found the defendant guilty of committing an offense under Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code as recorded by employees of the Department for Counteracting Customs Offenses of the Transcarpathian Customs. 
It is about the illegal import of mobile phones, laptops, tablets and other gadgets Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc., as well as car parts for a total of over UAH 96 million to the territory of Ukraine.
Recall that in the beginning of June this year, at the customs post "Uzhgorod", customs officers stopped the illegal import of mobile phones and office equipment. The driver of a truck DAF, during the customs control, submitted documents according to which he was moving spare parts for cars across the customs border. But customs officers inspected the truck and found undeclared mobile phones and accessories, as well as office equipment by SAMSUNG, APPLE and other brands.  
Therefore, a fine of over UAH 96 million was imposed on the Ukrainian with confiscation of the said goods with the same value in favor of the state.
