Tomorrow, April 2 is the first day for the registration of applications for temporary change of polling station in the second round of the presidential election in Ukraine, which will be held on April 21, 2019, the Office of the State Register of Voters of Uzhgorod City Council informed.
The Office of the State Register of Voters of Uzhgorod City Council (Poshtova sq., 3, room 237) will be accepting applications for temporary change of polling station through April 15. Working hours are from 8.30 to 18.00 without a break for lunch.
Employees of the enterprises in Uzhgorod district, for example, Jabil Circuit, the village of Rozivka in Uzhgorod district, who are not registered in Uzhgorod, but who reside here and can not prove their residence with relevant documents, should contact the Office of the State Register of Voters of the Uzhgorod District State Administration (Uzhgorod, Zahorska st., 10) for the temporary change of the place of voting at the place of work.
When submitting an application, you must present an ID confirming the citizenship of Ukraine – a passport of a citizen of Ukraine or a temporary ID of a citizen of Ukraine (if a person has recently acquired the citizenship of Ukraine). Servicemen also can present a military card.
Please note that the voter’s application for a temporary change of polling station is submitted to the office of the State Register of Voters personally.
Documents (copies of documents) confirm the need for temporary change of the voter’s polling station without changing the election address shall be attached to the application.
Such documents can be a letter from the place of work, a letter from school, a document confirming the ownership or lease of a residence, which is located at the place where the voter wants to vote, travel documents, a ticket to the sanatorium, a certificate of registration of an internally displaced person. The list of such documents is not exhaustive.
