The Commission on Road Safety and Coordination of Motor Transport met in Uzhgorod

The regular meeting of the Commission on Road Safety and Coordination of Motor Transport was held yesterday at the Uzhgorod City Council; 24 issues were considered.
Following the discussion, they approved installation of the road signs “Parking prohibited” on Mynaiska street – from the intersection with Borodin street (roundabout) to the intersection with Polonynska street, on Oleksandr Dovzhenko street (opposite the Court of Appeal) and on Pidhradska street (bus station, where the sign "Stopping prohibited" will also be installed). They also approved the marking and the installation of road signs at parking places for persons with disabilities on Poshtova and Koryatovich squares.
Also at the meeting they approved the route of transportation of oversized cargo by Obyizna street to the customs terminal from the international highway E50.
The Department of Municipal Economy of Uzhgorod City Council shall install traffic restraints (bollards) at Polyova st., 22, according to the parents’ request to ensure the safety of pupils of the secondary school №6, apply yellow road marking at the bus stop on Mynaiska Street (near houses No. 7, 9 and the flower shop) and install the “Bus Stop” road sign; develop a plan for one-way traffic on Ferenc Rakoczi street (from Ivan Krylov Street to Braty Brashchayky Street) and arrange for appropriate road signs; arrange a pedestrian crossing on Zahorska street (near Uzhgorod District State Administration) with horizontal marking and road signs.
Also, they instructed to apply yellow road marking on Panas Myrny street, and the horizontal marking "Pedestrian crossing" on Koryatovich Square (near the Atlant Hotel), move the "Bus Stop" road sign to the pavilion on Alexander Griboyedov street (near the city clinical hospital).
