Currently, in Uzhgorod schools and educational complexes, pupils of grades 6 and 8 are provided with textbooks at 100%, pupils of grades 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 – at 92-98%, pupils of grade 4 – at 89%. The schools will receive lacking textbooks very soon, so parents should not worry about this and buy books themselves. The funds for the purchase of textbooks have been allocated both from the state and from the city budgets.
The only issue yet to be resolved concerns the textbooks for nine-graders: half of them is available now; the rest will be provided by the national publishers during September-October due to the changes in the curriculum.
