The chief forester of Transcarpathia wanted to sell the forest at auction

About a month ago, the new head of the Transcarpathian Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting, Viktor Yakovets, was introduced in Uzhgorod. 
From 2019 until his appointment as the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting, he headed the State Enterprise "Khotyn Forestry". 
The State Bureau of Investigation detained the man in Chernivtsi region. That’s where he went for the weekend and where he planned to sell Khotyn forestry, which he headed until recently, at the auction. The new head of this forestry, who was appointed after the transfer of Yakovets to Transcarpathia, was also involved in the dealing. He was also detained.
