Yesterday, May 14, the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko, along with the Mayor Galina Tsar inspected the construction and repair of educational institutions in Chop. In particular, he visited Chop kindergarten "Kazka", where they are erecting a new building, which is designed for 4 new groups (about 100 children) and should solve almost all the problems of preschool education in the city. 1.46 million hryvnias was allocated for these needs from the regional budget, and 2.1 million – from the city budget.
According to the Chairman of the Regional Council, Chop is a special city, because the lion’s share of its inhabitants is made up of railroad workers, military, customs officers, civil servants. Those are professions with clearly defined working hours, and, accordingly, the problem of caring for preschool children during working hours is particularly relevant. "Today, the queue to the Chop kindergarten is just over 100 children, who are looked after by grandmothers, relatives, and the issue must be addressed so that their parents could efficiently work for the state, and children receive the same high-quality pre-school education. So, last year, the regional council allocated abour 500 thousand hryvnia, and preparation works were performed, and this year we expect that by the end of the summer Chop will have a new nice kindergarten, and we will close the issue of preschool education for Chop children" – Volodymyr Chubirko said
After that, the "inspectors" went to the school №1, where, in the primary school building, old windows were replaced with new energy saving ones. According to the mayor of Chop Galina Tsar, these works have completed the plan on introduction of energy saving technologies in educational institutions of the city.
