Around 2.30 at Friday night, February 22, unknown persons entered the official’s private house court in Mukachevo and set fire to his personal vehicle Suzuki Grand Vitara, reported mukachevo.net.
According to the victim himself, the car was set on fire by the hood, near the left front wheel. The owner of the car was the first to begin extinguishing the fire before the arrival of firefighters. Thus, he prevented a nearby car Lada from catching the fire.
In his comments to Mukachevo.net the chief of Uzhgorod Anti-Narcotics Police Department Vasyl Shvardak (the car owner) said that he believed the arson was connected with his professional activities.
Immediately after the report of the arson, the police arrived at the scene. A criminal case on the fact of arson has been instituted. At first glance, the front part (hood) of the car is completely destroyed.
Let us remind that at night, on December 1, 2012, in Mukachevo, unknown persons torched a 2012 Mercedes ML 350 bluetec owned by the family of the prosecutor Ruslan Bilovar which was parked in the yard of his own house.
