The call-center has been opened in Uzhgorod for a more rapid response to appeals of citizens

Today, June 6, a new call-center has been opened in Uzhgorod. It is located in the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, the prozahid.com informs.

From now on, the upgraded system will enable a more rapid response to all appeals received by the police. An operator of the "102" service will be accepting calls and carrying out initial classification of the incident based on the information received from the applicant.

Then the message will be transmitted to relevant dispatcher who can see on the e-map the location of patrol police and other police crews.

In this way, the monitoring of each individual police crew and coordination of joint actions will be ensured.

For example, based on the type of the offense reported, dispatcher will be sending at the scene either patrol police or an investigative team.

According to the acting chief of Transcarpathian police, Stepan Dovhun, the call-center will be staffed by dispatchers speaking English and Hungarian. Also, the head of the police said that at present, Uzhgorod is the third city in Ukraine where such call-centers have been opened.
