The Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Parliament a bill that provides for a penalty for late payment for utility services
This is stated in the draft law "On Housing and Communal Services", which is registered in the Parliament under №4563a on August 29 – the Espreso.tv reported.
In particular, the Cabinet proposes that in the event of late and / or partial payment for utility services the consumer shall be required to pay a penalty of 0.1 percent of the amount of overdue payment, which is calculated for each day of delay.
Accrual of penalty begins on the first working day following the last day of payment for housing and communal services.
The last day for payment for utility services is the 20th day of the month following the billing month. The penalty for each month shall be calculated separately.
