The brutal murder on Druzhba street

On May 2, Khust police station was reported about the crime.  The investigative team, led by the chief of Khust police department Colonel Vasyl Turday, arrived to the private house on Druzhba street.

The said former prisoner opened the door to law enforcement officers, led them to the room and showed the lifeless body of his mother. Initially, the man insisted that his mother had died of natural causes, but traces of blood in the room and beaten woman’s face showed the opposite … Eventually he confessed to the crime and told how it all had happened.

Tragedy in the house was bound to happen. The relations between the mother and the son had long been hostile. The woman abused alcohol, and on this basis would often reproach her son that he was no good. On that fateful night, the conflict arose in the house again. Unable to withstand the censures of a drunk mother, the son hit her in the face with his fist, causing the woman to fall to the floor. Then, the son helped her up and walked in the bedroom, but there she again started to insult him. This time the man was no longer restraining his rage and beat the mother hard …

Leaving the beaten woman on the floor, the monster went to bed. At night he heard the mother’s moans, but he would not call an ambulance. And soon the mother ceased to wheeze …

The next day, the killer found the mother dead, called the district inspector, and told him that his mother had died. However, from an agitated voice of the interlocutor the policeman realized that something bad had happened and came to the scene since with the investigative team …

The killer was taken to the police station, this incident was included in the Unified register of pre-trial investigation, preliminary classification – Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("murder"). The investigators are establishing the circumstances of this tragedy.
