The attackers on Vehesh called themselves the Right Sector. The organization categorically denies any involvement

Now, in the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, they are holding the press conference dedicated to the unfortunate incident which occurred at night with the family of Mykola Vehesh.

Armed men attacked his house, beat Mr. Mykola, his wife and his son Ivan, took some valuables.

Interestingly, the attackers called themselves the Right Sector, Vehesh Jr. said. Oleksandr Sachko, the Head of the Right Sector in Transcarpathia said that this was not the first attempt to discredit this organization. He said – the information that people from the Right Sector are involved in the attack is not true and can not be true. This fact is simply unacceptable for the Right Sector. Who, by the way, yesterday, together with Transcarpathian Euromaidan agreed with law enforcement – police, Security Service of Ukraine, the traffic police and prosecutors – on joint activities to ensure order and safety of citizens. Already on Friday, there were joint patrollings. In the evening and at night, the Right Sector representatives were guarding the RSA and arrived at the scene together with the staff of the State Protection Service when they became aware of the unfortunate incident, as they were on joint patrolling with law enforcement officers.

Oleksandr Sachko said that we should ask ourselves one simple question: "Who benefits from the information that the Right Sector is involved in this incident?". Student representative Nadia Vats assured that, after having been dealing with representatives of the Right Sector for several months, she was indignant about the information that these people may be involved in this incident.
