The report on the level of air pollution in the city of Uzhgorod in November 2014 is posted on the official website of Transcarpathian weather service.
During November 2014, the laboratory for air pollution monitoring (LAPM) of the Transcarpathian Hydrometeorology Center at two monitoring stations took and analyzed 760 samples of Uzhgorod air.
The comparison of the monthly average concentration of pollutants with the maximum permissible daily average concentration showed the increased level of formaldehyde pollution (2.89 MPC d.a.) and carbon monoxide pollution (1.11 MPC d.a.).
Compared with October, in November, the monthly average concentration of nitrogen dioxide and oxide, dust and soluble sulfates increased; the concentration of sulfur dioxide remained at the previous month’s level; the concentration of carbon monoxide and formaldehyde in the air of the city decreased.

The index of Uzhgorod air pollution with five priority pollutants was 13.67, including: nitric oxide pollution index – 6.64, nitrogen dioxide pollution index – 2.89, formaldehyde pollution index – 2.07, carbon monoxide pollution index – 1.10, and dust pollution index – 0.97.
