The access to the Nevytsky castle for tourists will be temporarily restricted

This year, the regional state administration plans to implement the project "Development of infrastructure in the field of tourism and recreation of Transcarpathia by restoration of the national architecture monument – the Nevytsky castle (the first stage of urgent work)" at the expense of the state budget funds received from the European Union. The total amount of financing for the project is UAH 10.5 mln at the expense of the state budget and more than 0.5 mln – at the expense of the local budget. It is expected that by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the project will be financed as selected by the Commission of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine. In the near future, the regional state administration will begin restoration work, the first stage of which involves the dismantling of the tower, which can collapse at any moment.
