Test passed: a new bus route was tested in Uzhgorod

The length of the route in one direction is 16 kilometers, it includes 35 bus stops, travel time is 55 minutes. This was reported by the press service of Uzhgorod City Council.

In pursuance of the order of the mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv, yesterday the commission determined what modifications to the road infrastructure need to be made for safe transportation of passengers on the new route № 24 "Dravtsi – UzhNU".

The commission included employees of the department of transport, the department of municipal economy of Uzhgorod city council, patrol police office in Transcarpathian region, municipal enterprise "KShEP", deputy of the city council, representatives of Transcarpathian regional center of the Ukrainian Federation of Sports for Disabled People with Musculoskeletal Disorders.

Recall that the route will run via: Universytetska st., Griboyedov st., Sobranetska st., Vitaliy Postolaki Square, Zahorska st., Bobyak st., Lehotsky st., Maria Zankovetska st., Mykhaylo Hrushevsky st., Mynaiska st., Svoboda ave., Stantsiyna st., Ivan Ankundinov st., Budyteli st., Ukrainska st., Antonivska st., Yuri Gagarin st. The final stop is in the Dravtsi neighborhood, near the roundabout. This will solve the problem of bus service to remote areas of the city, and Uzhgorod will be able to ride without lay-offs and not pay twice.
