Teenage robber: the police detained a suspect in a series of thefts in Uzhgorod

8 burglaries and 2 robberies: the police detained a 14-year-old Uzhgorod resident. 

The teenager stole cell phones, tablets, headsets, etc. from local hardware and electronics stores. The amount of damage is currently being determined.

As of today, the boy was proved to be involved in eight thefts in Uzhgorod.

The police seized some of the stolen goods and sent them for examination, the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police informed.

In addition, the teenager is suspected of two robberies. In both cases, the victims were a minor boy and a girl. The teenager openly took cell phones from children.

Yesterday, on November 25, investigators of the Uzhgorod Police Department notified the boy that he is suspected of committing crimes under Part 2 of Art. 185 (theft) and Part 2 of Art. 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation continues.
