Owing to the efficiency of the tax police units, budgets of Transcarpathia received more than 13 million hryvnias, the regional office of the Ministry of Income reported.
Officers of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in the region have registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations 115 criminal offenses, including 57 on tax evasion.
In general, according to the Minister O.Klymenko, thanks to investigators of the Ministry of income and taxes of Ukraine, about 2 billion hryvnias of losses have been reimbursed to the budget, which is twice more than that in the same period of the last year. He also said that currently his subordinates pay the maximum attention to analytical work with minimal interference in the affairs of honest taxpayers.
At the very least, new legislative provisions and structural changes in the Ministry of Income made it possible that today, not a single entrepreneur is being in custody for non-payment of taxes.
