The day before his visit to Ukraine, Peter Szijjarto, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, met with the Council of Europe’s European Commissioner for Human Rights in Strasbourg, where he reported on an agreement on the use of languages in Transcarpathia and instruction in native language.
On his page on the social network, Peter Szijjarto wrote: the Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović agrees that the issue of language use and instruction in native language in Transcarpathia should be resolved. "Today in the Council of Europe, tomorrow in Ukraine, I will agree on concrete steps," Peter Szijjarto wrote on his Facebook page.
